RMS Olympic
El RMS Olympic, era uno de los tres barcos gemelos, que la compañía White Star Line, empezó a contruir en 1908. Fue el primero en ser botado, notablemente parecido al malogrado Titanic, fue en su corto momento el barco más lujoso de pasajeros hasta que entró en operaciones el Titanic. El 20 de octubre de 1910, se bota el casco del Olympic y en junio de 1911, parte en su primer viaje inagural. Este barco operó entre los puertos de New York y Southampton e inicialmente tenía la misma cantidad de botes que el Titanic, mas tarde despúes de la tragedia, se le aumentaron a los originales del proyecto(48).
